Biofeedback Asthma Assessment and Solutions: Asthma is a lung condition that affects people of all ages. Asthma is one of the most frequent chronic disorders in children, but it can also affect adults. Statistical analysis shows that around 5.1 million children in the U.S. suffer from Asthma. This number is around 20 million for the adult people aging from 18 or over 18.
Genetical, environmental, and occupational variables have all been related to the development of the disease.
Today in this article on the biofeedback program, the factors that may cause asthma and their solutions will be focused on.

What may cause Asthma
Asthma is a lung disease. Patients suffering from asthma mostly fall short of breath, they lack the stamina to do hard work, especially cardio work.
Asthma mostly attacks the respiratory system. Considering this, asthma may be caused due to problems or damage in airways, allergies, immunity factors, inflammatory elements, root causes including hormonal, emotional, dietary issues; molds, nervous system problems, etc.
Allergy
When immune system proteins (antibodies) incorrectly interpret an innocuous material, an allergic reaction develops. Antibodies bind to the allergen in an attempt to defend your body against the chemical.
Allergies can be developed for so many reasons. It can be caused by the food one eats, like gluten, or it can be fungal. Even the environment can also contribute to spike up the level of immunoglobulin E i.e. IgE or histamine level in the body.
Leukotriene can also develop allergies. Leukotriene is a physiologically active chemical. They are generally found in leukocytes. They are arachidonic acid metabolites with three conjugated double bonds.
Leukotrienes tighten airway muscle as well as the production of extra mucus and fluid. These molecules have a crucial part in allergies, allergic rhinitis, and asthma, as well as inducing airway constriction, making breathing difficult.
Allergy signs and symptoms include nasal congestion and skin responses, which are caused by chemicals generated by the immune system. This same reaction can harm the lungs and airways which may develop asthma symptoms.
Block in Airways
The organs of the respiratory system that pass the airflow during ventilation are referred to as the airway or respiratory tract.
The airway consists of several parts like the mouth & nose, sinus, throat. Bronchial tube and lungs.
Human being takes in the air from the external environment with the help of a mouse and nose. Lungs are the prime and major component of the respiratory system. It produces oxygen and passes it to the body. Bronchial tubes are connected to the lungs and the trachea is the connector between the lungs and throat.
These are the prime organs that help to process oxygen and carbon dioxide, i.e. keeps the flow of the respiratory system.
Besides these organs, there are many more components that contribute to this system. Alveoli, Bronchioles, Capillaries; also help the system to continue its work.
Any kind of internal damage in this system, or damage to any particular organ of the respiratory system, affects the flow of oxygen in the body and leads to asthma.
Inflammatory Disease
Long-term exposure to irritating gases or particulate matter, most commonly cigarette smoke, is the most common cause. These go a long way for asthma in adult or younger people.
Nervous system
The Vagus nerve is associated with the respiratory system. It regulates the rate of the whole system. The cholinergic vagus nerves are involved in more than just regulating the inflammatory response in the airways.
Asthma-related airway inflammation can influence neuronal activity at numerous locations along the neural reflex route, including the primary sensory nerves’ function.
Root causes
The human body is connected to emotions. Whenever a person feels happy, excited, sad, the body releases hormones connected to them.
If the serotonin is increased excessively, it may cause asthma.
The body is basically the food one eats. Consuming allergic foods can cause allergies. Hilsa fish, eggplant, prawn, milk, eggs, peanuts, whet these foods can increase IgE and result in Allergies. The irritation caused by allergy can lead to inflammation in the airways and cause asthma.
Effects of Asthma
Asthma narrows the airways and can cause coughing, wheezing. It reduces stamina for performing cardio or any hard work. It also creates obstacles to a sound sleep.
How to prevent asthma
The biofeedback program aims to help the patient suffering from different body problems. This program is designed to show all the natural herbs and medicines that can be beneficial to improve the blocks in the airway, hormonal imbalance, and other causes that may cause asthma.
Essential fatty acid
An omega-3 fatty acid is beneficial to control asthma. Sea fish like salmon, tuna, and flaxseed are enriched in fatty acids and can be added to the regular diet to improve the immunity system.
Herbs
Different herbs like Boswellia, althea, cayenne, cherry bark, flax oil, ginger, honey, hella, lobelia, tussilago, etc have been proved as essential herbs helping to boost immunity.
Boswellia is highly beneficial to prevent the loss of cartilage; Althea has anti-androgenic elements; Cayenne can accelerate weight loss, it increases the metabolism rate, can reduce blood clot; people chew cherry bark while suffering from bad coughing, or lungs inflammation, it soothes inflammation; flax oil, ginger, and honey are enriched in antioxidants and they improve immunity and metabolism.
MInerals
A recent study shows that zinc works as an anti-inflammatory factor to reduce inflammation in the lungs, zinc supplement is also enriched in antioxidants which is helpful for reducing asthma.
Vitamins
Vitamins improve the body’s immunity system. It enables the body to fight against diseases. Vitamin A, vitamin B6, vitamin E is enriched in antioxidants which help to remove blood colt, remove toxins.
Excessive hormones, increased weight level, consuming allergic foods, environmental dust pollution contribute to breathing disorders like asthma. Maintaining a healthy diet, exercise and a healthy lifestyle is much more helpful to control asthma.
